Job summary

Stellarus Technology is seeking a Director, Performance Engineering and Test Automation to define and lead automated performance and reliability validation across the platform. You will partner with engineering teams to set standards, tooling, and release gates before services reach production.

In this hybrid in-office role, you will own strategy for load testing, synthetic monitoring, test data automation, and CI/CD integration while guiding teams through AI-assisted testing and observability

Qualifications

Strong hands-on background building automated test systems, load testing frameworks, and reliability tooling.
Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native apps.
Proven ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and share results with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Own strategy and implementation for performance testing, load testing, and reliability validation across the Stellarus platform.
Define standards, tooling, and expectations for teams to design, build, test, and operate services; explore AI-assisted tooling.
Lead the creation of automated performance validation pipelines and synthetic monitoring in production-like environments.
Partner with engineers across code, architecture, and infrastructure to drive release gates and production readiness.
