Job summary

Citi is looking for a Director to lead Payments Sanctions & Credit Risk Technology, steering critical engineering programs that modernize payments and strengthen financial crime defenses. You will own the full software lifecycle and shape strategy for enterprise-grade sanctions and credit risk platforms.

Based in Jersey City, NJ, you will manage globally distributed teams in a hybrid setup and guide delivery across Citi's global payments infrastructure, leveraging AI and modern development

Qualifications

• 15+ years of application development experience.
• 10+ years’ leadership in franchise-critical applications.
• 10+ years’ experience leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Designing highly available and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage multiple technology teams, aligning with business goals.
• Drive design, development, and implementation of robust architectures; oversee the full SDLC.
