Job summary

Visa is seeking a leader for the Payment Ecosystem Risk and Control function in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The role oversees strategic initiatives, drives Visa's security strategy, and collaborates with global teams to disrupt fraud.

You will manage premier client relationships, deliver threat intelligence, and help accelerate remediation through advanced compromise detection capabilities, while aligning with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (or 3+ years with a PhD).
• Strong knowledge of payment risk and cyber-security practices and incident response.
• Experience in leading global teams and engaging with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Act as resident SME on fraud types, trends and emerging threats in the LAC region.
• Lead external compromise events and coordinate with clients, law enforcement and partners.
• Oversee regional client engagements to advance Visa's security strategy.
• Publish alerts and disseminate at-risk accounts to financial institutions.
