Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a Director of Payer Contracting to drive market expansion for the Midlife line. You will define our health plan engagement strategy and lead end-to-end contracting from sourcing through signature.

Reporting to the EVP of Commercial Partnerships, this role can be located anywhere in the continental US and requires deep payer expertise and a startup-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with ability to move between market strategy and term sheet details.
• Skilled negotiator with experience closing contracts directly with health plans.
• Deep familiarity with payer economics, reimbursement models, and commercial health plan landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define payer contracting strategy and expansion plans.
• Lead payer contract negotiations from sourcing to signature with high impact deals.
• Build senior relationships with payer executives to champion Pomelo internally.
• Monitor regulatory and reimbursement landscape to keep strategy current.
