Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding access for mothers and babies through a Director of Payer Contracting. This leader will shape our health plan engagement strategy and drive end-to-end contracting from sourcing to signature, partnering with senior payer executives and internal teams.

The role reports to the EVP of Commercial Partnerships and can be located anywhere in the continental US, with fully remote flexibility within the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in payer contracting, payer partnerships, network strategy, and/or business development.

Responsibilities

• Define payer contracting strategy, including engagement, (re)negotiation & expansion.
• Lead payer contract negotiations from sourcing through signature.
• Build relationships with senior payer executives.
• Track regulatory and reimbursement landscapes to keep strategy current.
