You will lead incident reviews, coordinate with litigation support and regulatory bodies, and drive the hospital's HRO journey while ensuring compliance with NJ DOH, CMS and DNV requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in nursing or healthcare, at least five years in healthcare risk management, and strong writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare risk management.
• Working knowledge of DNV, CMS and NJ DOH regulations.
• Excellent writing, communications and organization skills.
• Ability to work with Excel, Microsoft Word, electronic programs, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical risk management and patient safety programs.
• Serve as hospital liaison with litigation claims and support providers and staff.
• Collaborate with insurance brokers, insurers, and attorneys as assigned.
• Implement High Reliability Organization processes for Serious Safety Events review.
• Oversee DOH reporting, SEC reviews, and RCA process documentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate services on incident reporting and claims defense.
