Job summary

Abeona Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Patient Access & Reimbursement to lead payer engagement, access strategies, and education across the U.S. You will collaborate with HUB partners and centers of excellence to secure robust coverage for Abeona therapies.

The role requires deep payer expertise, strategic leadership, and willingness to travel up to 60% to support sites of care and payer relations. Remote work with on-site client interaction is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in the pharma/biotech industry.
• 10+ years in complex reimbursement markets and market access strategy.
• Experience with national payers (Medicare/Medicaid) and regional payers.

Responsibilities

• Minimize reimbursement barriers to optimize access for Abeona products including ZEVASKYN.
• Engage with payer accounts across the U.S. to secure coverage and reimbursement.
• Educate customers on reimbursement processes and health economics information.
