Applied Materials seeks a Director-level Pathfinder Solutions leader to develop integrated pathfinding processes for cutting-edge logic and memory architectures. Qualificações

• Ph.D. in a relevant semiconductor discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor process development, integration, or device engineering.
• Hands-on track record of developing integrated process solutions for advanced logic and/or memory nodes.
• Strong publication record at top-tier semiconductor conferences and/or patents.
• Experience engaging directly with customer technical teams at major manufacturers.
• Deep understanding of device physics, process-structure-property relationships, and DTCO principles.
• Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries with multiple BUs and product teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and demonstrate integrated pathfinding process solutions for advanced logic (GAA, CFET) and/or memory architectures.
• Drive hands-on process development spanning deposition, etch, implant, epitaxy, CMP, and thermal processing to connect steps into integrated module flows.
• Identify and de-risk critical process challenges for N+1 and N+2 technology nodes through systematic experimentation and DTCO analysis.
• Translate customer device performance targets into actionable Applied process solutions.
• Work across product BUs to assemble end-to-end process flows and influence product roadmaps.
• Engage directly with senior customer technologists in TRMs and workshops.
• Publish at premier conferences and in top journals; contribute to IP portfolio.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical leadership across the organization.
