Job summary

Crum & Forster’s Accident & Health division seeks a Director of Property & Casualty Claims Program Management to lead the claims program strategy and governance across delegated portfolios. The role manages a team of program professionals and collaborates with TPAs, MGAs, underwriters, and other partners to optimize reserving, litigation, and performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Claims strategy and leadership: Set and execute the P&C claims program strategy, operating model, service standards, and annual priorities.
• Talent and culture: Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team of program managers and specialists; set clear goals and develop capability.
• Portfolio accountability: Own financial, operational, customer, quality, compliance, and talent outcomes across assigned.
• Program governance: Establish a scalable governance framework for TPAs, MGAs/MGUs, independent adjusters, and other partners.
• Partner due diligence and onboarding: Lead assessments, readiness, data mapping, staffing validation, testing, and go-live governance.
• Claim oversight: Audit TPAs and related partners; guide complex and high-severity claims; report to leaders and reinsurers.
• Litigation and vendor management: Guide counsel guidelines, strategy, and outcomes with Legal.
• Regulatory and control environment: Ensure adherence to laws, licensing, privacy, and internal controls.
• Quality assurance: Run audits on coverage, investigation, reserving, payments, and communication.
