Job summary

Sorren, Inc. seeks an experienced Head of Outsourced Accounting to lead complex client portfolios and steer the strategic direction of the outsourced accounting practice. You will align services with evolving client needs, drive transformational initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and executive teams.

You will oversee monthly close cycles, internal controls, and scalable processes, while maintaining high‑quality, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting across multi‑entity environments.

Qualifications

• CPA license or eligible and extensive GAAP knowledge required.
• Advanced degree of leadership in financial transformation and ERP implementations.
• Experience guiding complex, multi-entity client portfolios and international operations.
• Proven ability to architect scalable accounting systems and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of complex client portfolios and high-growth startups.
• Drive strategic vision of outsourced accounting practice and align services with client needs.
• Lead financial transformation initiatives including ERP implementations and process automation.
• Serve as trusted advisor to CFOs, founders, and executive teams on financial strategy, fundraising, M&A, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial statements, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
