Job summary

Honeywell in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Director of IT for OT to lead resilience, efficiency and scalability across plant operations. You'll drive OT optimization of MES, SCADA, PLCs and data historians, while ensuring governance and cyber-secure deployment.

You will build and manage a global, multi-disciplinary OT team, align IT/OT with business priorities, and establish KPIs to realize measurable value and ROI across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in IT infrastructure management or ISC platforms.
• Experience leading ERP transformations and cyber-secure deployments.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute OT strategy to optimize MES, SCADA, PLCs and data historians to improve reliability and performance.
• Standardize lifecycle management and cyber-secure deployment of OT systems across sites.
• Align OT architecture with ENIT systems for smart factory capabilities.
• Partner with site leadership to prioritize OT investments and minimize disruption.
• Ensure governance, support models, and compliance, with emphasis on cybersecurity.
• Lead and develop a global OT team across functions.
• Oversee M&A infrastructure, operations and security teams.
• Foster accountability, innovation and continuous improvement in a matrix environment.
• Own OT technology budgets and monitor value realization metrics.
