Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, OH is seeking a Director, Organizational Effectiveness to oversee the Performance Improvement group at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation.

The role leads leadership development, establishes an ongoing Operations Performance Improvement program, and oversees Emergency Planning and Security programs, reporting to the site leadership.

Qualifications

• 9–10 years of relevant business and management experience.
• 10+ years of either commercial or Navy nuclear experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on issue identification, structuring, and creativity.
• Strong quantitative skills and business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to the above skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Performance Improvement department.
• oversee Emergency Planning staff in maintaining Emergency Preparedness Program.
• Oversee the management and administration of the DBES Security Organization.
• Monitoring and improving personnel and plant performance to ensure safe, reliable operation in line with licenses and regulations.
