Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Ops Analysis in Washington, DC to lead the operations analysis function, turning complex questions into structured analyses and executive-ready recommendations. The role combines rigorous modeling with strategic leadership in a fast-moving environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, define analyses, oversee a team, and deliver measurable outcomes that inform product strategy and program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, operations research, or data science.
• 10+ years of experience in operations analysis or related technical domains.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in teams or projects.
• Proficiency in modeling and simulation for product or operational decisions.
• Strong understanding of military operations and defense concepts.
• Excellent technical communication skills for briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations analysis team, including hiring and performance management
• Build an operations analysis capability to inform product strategy and program execution
• Define and execute analyses, including mission and campaign evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational problems into actionable insights
• Develop analysis plans that connect mission objectives with measurable outcomes
• Guide the use of modeling tools to evaluate mission effectiveness
• Create executive-ready briefings that communicate analysis results and recommendations
