Job summary

Ladders seeks a Director of Operational Finance to partner with divisional leadership in a remote capacity across the Enterprise Technology space. You will translate performance into actionable insights, standardize reporting, drive budgeting/forecasting, and illuminate operational drivers with executive clarity.

You will influence senior stakeholders, identify risks, support M&A analysis, and lead cost-saving initiatives while ensuring accurate monthly closes and strategic financial planning

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of FP&A and finance partnering in SaaS.
• Strong SaaS metrics knowledge: ARR, bookings, retention.
• Skilled in financial modeling and variance analysis for executives.
• Experience influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
• Experience with private-equity-backed companies and lender reporting.
• Familiar with M&A processes, including synergy tracking and integration.
• Proficiency with planning platforms like Pigment, Adaptive, or Anaplan.

Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional leadership as the primary finance contact for the division.
• Drive consistency in financial reporting across divisions by standardizing metrics.
• Shape the annual budget by incorporating divisional context and priorities.
• Assist with forecasting and performance tracking for division leadership.
• Identify and escalates risks related to bookings, retention, and costs.
• Drive operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives with divisional leaders.
• Own tracking of below-the-line adjustments and report progress to Corporate Finance.
• Support the monthly and quarterly close with variance analysis and commentary.
• Collaborate with shared services roles to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Lead synergy identification for M&A activities within the division.
