Job summary

ADEA seeks a strategic Director of eLearn to lead online learning programming for members and participants. You will design curricula, standards, and governance across synchronous and asynchronous modalities, integrating emerging technologies while ensuring ADA-CERP alignment.

In this hybrid role, you will oversee webinars, LMS management, budgets, and collaboration with content experts, aligning with ADEA’s strategic plan and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.
• Eight years of experience in online learning, instructional design, educational content development, and professional development programming, including the design, delivery, and evaluation of synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Ability to think strategically and execute end-to-end online learning initiatives.
• Knowledge of continuing education accreditation requirements, preferably ADA-CERP or similar continuing education standards.
• Prior experience working in an academic, association or a non-profit environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize learning technologies and emerging digital tools to enhance online learning experiences, scalability, learner engagement, and program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and plan synchronous and asynchronous online learning programming.
• Develop and implement curricula for self-paced courses with emerging tech.
• Create standards, templates, and quality frameworks for scalable programs.
• Oversee LMS administration, performance, and improvements.
• Produce KPI analyses and annual content reviews.
• Coordinate live and on-demand webinars, including speaker and LMS setup.
• Support VP eLearn and manage budgets for initiatives.
• Travel and onsite duties as needed.
