Job summary

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) seeks a Manager, Learning Programs to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of professional development offerings for ADEA members. This hybrid role anchors a busy, learning-driven Office of Learning in Washington, DC, collaborating with senior leaders to advance micro-credentials, eLearn badges, and webinars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education and experience required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including project and learning programs management.
• Experience in academic, association or non-profit environment preferred.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office and LMS tools; ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and day-to-day maintenance of the Micro-credential Program, including annual review cycles and committee coordination.
• Manage ADEA’s eLearn digital badging system, updates, issuing, troubleshooting and customer service.
• Oversee technical and logistical aspects of live and on-demand webinars, including speaker recruitment, registration, production, and post-production tasks.
• Manage daily LMS operations: site updates, user management, course creation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Collaborate to develop and manage virtual and hybrid LMS course content, assets, and learner engagement; coordinate marketing outreach for OL initiatives.
• Maintain contracts for OL vendors and consultants; serve as primary contact for vendors and monitor timelines and payments.
