Job summary

The Cradle, operating StageWise Parenting in Evanston, seeks a Director of Education to lead online education strategy and product development. You will expand reach, ensure accessibility, and align offerings with the organization’s mission to support all families, including those beyond adoption.

You will build partnerships, supervise a small team, manage an annual budget, and collaborate with leadership to ensure SWP grows in impact and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in education, program development, or related field.
• Experience with online learning platforms and instructional design.
• Experience leading teams in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong strategic planning, partnerships, and budget management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive online education strategy.
• Build and grow partnerships to reach new families and professionals.
• Develop and maintain an annual SWP plan with goals and measures.
• Oversee curriculum development, courses, webinars, and resources.
• Represent The Cradle and SWP in external meetings and networks.
• Provide leadership and professional development for the StageWise Parenting Team.
• Monitor metrics for reach, participation, engagement, and impact.
