Job summary

MSD is seeking a Principal Scientist/Director to lead Value & Implementation Outcomes Research for oncology programs. You will partner across medical affairs, biostatistics, market access and country affiliates to define value evidence, manage studies, and support payer submissions.

The role involves developing AMCP dossiers, collaborating on health economic models, and presenting data at conferences, with a focus on improving patient access and optimal market strategies.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a health-related field with strong outcomes research background.
• 7+ years post-master’s experience or 4+ years post-doctoral in life sciences with NIR/value evidence.
• Experience in oncology value evidence and market access strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the Value & Implementation plan with cross-functional teams.
• Support reimbursement and market access for programs and indications.
• Design studies, write protocols, develop data collection tools and final reports.
• Manage contracts, budgets and vendor relationships; ensure SOP/regulatory compliance.
• Develop AMCP and Global Value dossiers for HTA submissions; contribute to ecosystem.
