Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist the Club Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating youth programs and events at the Jamaica Plain Teen Center. This role collaborates with staff to oversee program delivery and ensure safety and quality across activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing teen curricula, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse youth and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience developing curriculum and providing classes for teens.
• Knowledge of youth and teen development principles.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage teens and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supports the delivery and continuous improvement of teen programs and activities.
• Demonstrates effective teen supervision and behavior management.
• Engages members through facilitation and active participation in activities.
• Assists in coordinating teen programming and extended-hour operations.
• Maintains program spaces, materials, and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Maintains accurate membership, registration, and program records.
• Participates in program evaluation and outcome measurement efforts.
