Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of warehousing and inventory management procedures.
• Outstanding leadership traits including superior written, communication, problem solving, presentation and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate strategically, while understanding the tactical implications of decisions.
• Strong analytical skills, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Sets vision, strategic direction, expectations, and objectives for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strategically adjusts activities, policies and practices to meet or exceed KPIs and customer satisfaction goals.
• Develops partnerships with Supply Chain and Sales.
• Plans for growth capacity in storage, receiving, and shipping for present and future business.
• Ensures contingency policies to prevent business disruption.
• Champions efficiency ideas and cost-reduction measures within areas of responsibility.
• Manages transportation plans and annual budget; determines economical shipment methods.
• Oversees importation and exportation of goods.
• Adheres to policies; promotes a safe and compliant work environment.
