Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Director of Warehouse Management to lead a high-volume distribution center supporting our store network. You will direct all warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate distribution of automotive parts while delivering outstanding service to stores and customers.

You will oversee 20–30 leaders and up to 300 teammates, driving operational excellence, inventory integrity, productivity, and financial performance in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership in distribution center/warehouse/logistics
• 3–5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale distribution operations
• Experience leading automated distribution facilities with high SKU complexity and volume
• Experience managing 200+ employees across multiple leadership levels
• Experience supporting retail or multi-channel distribution environments

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all DC operations including receiving, put-away, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation coordination
• Lead a highly automated environment with advanced warehouse technologies
• Develop and execute operational strategies to support company objectives and growth
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team with accountability and continuous improvement
• Partner with Store Ops, District Leaders, and other teams to ensure service excellence
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and drive operational efficiency
• Lead DC start-ups, expansions, or transformations as needed
