Premium Guard, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead all strategic and tactical warehousing and logistics activities. The role directs receiving, storage, distribution, and third-party partnerships while aligning goals with growth and service objectives.

This leadership position requires steering budgets, carrier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain and Sales to improve service levels and efficiency across the network.

Responsibilities

• Sets vision, strategic direction, expectations, annual and long-term objectives for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strategically adjusts department’s activities, policies and practices to meet and/or exceed key performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
• Develops strong partnerships with the various teams within the organization – Supply Chain and Sales.
• Analyze, plan and ensure the preparedness for the growth of the Company in terms of capacities to maintain and ensure proper storage, receiving, and shipping capabilities for present and future business.
• Ensures contingency policies, systems and practices are in place to prevent and eliminate business disruption.
• Champions efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with implementation of changes within areas of responsibility.
• Manages transportation plans, annual transportation budget and develops and administers programs to determine the most advantageous and economical methods of shipment for company products.
• Manage the importation and exportation of goods
• Adheres to all company policies, practices, and standards outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Promotes a safe and compliant work environment by following all job-specific safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements; promptly addressing hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions; and reinforcing safe work practices throughout warehousing and logistics operations.
