Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to oversee distribution and assembly in the Distribution Center. You will lead shipping, receiving, inventory, and assembly while promoting a Lean culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage safety, quality, and compliance with ISO9001:2015 QMS and OSHA standards, and drive cost-effective labor and operations across shifts. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations, manufacturing, or related field.
• 8+ years of warehouse/distribution or manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3+ years using a WMS to manage warehouse operations.
• 3+ years using Robotic ASRS for inventory storage/management.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead and develop Warehouse Supervisors and team for shipping, receiving, inventory, picking and assembly.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO9001:2015 QMS) and maintain a 5S program.
• Monitor KPIs like productivity, accuracy, and same-day-ship; drive continuous improvement projects.
• Manage costs, overtime, and budget alignment with forecasts.
• Coordinate with Engineering on internal rework and key OEM assemblies.
• Lead daily/weekly huddles and gemba walks to communicate changes.
