Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Value-Based Contracting to establish and maintain productive value-based relationships with key network providers. You will develop the Keystone Value-based Network and negotiate high-value contracts while coordinating across internal teams and external providers.

The role requires deep expertise in contract design, cost and quality optimization, and complex program management within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience with successful value-based contracting negotiations.
• Experience reviewing medical claims data and preparing executive summaries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization and align stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with provider partners to develop value-based solutions.
• Develop alternative payment models and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Manage the full value-based contracting cycle from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with Performance, Clinical Transformation, and Analytics teams on strategic plans.
• Lead complex projects impacting multiple processes and coordinate external meetings.
