Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Underwriting to lead multiple underwriting teams, drive pricing strategy, and ensure financial performance in a remote capacity. This executive role coordinates across client segments to deliver sustainable outcomes while aligning with corporate strategy and quality standards.

The position partners with Blue Plan leadership and cross-functional groups to shape ASO pricing, manage proposals, and ensure underwriting consistency and excellence across bids

Qualifications

• 8 years of underwriting, healthcare finance, pricing, or related experience.
• 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic direction and day to day guidance to underwriting managers to maintain expert underwriting support and meet the needs of the organization
• Develops, drives, and executes ASO pricing and margin strategies with Blue Plan Underwriting and Sales Executive leadership
• Oversees and coordinates workflow for the underwriting team
• Ensures responses to all RFPs are complete and accurate with pertinent definitions and caveats
• Consults with Legal and Client Engagement to ensure contractual terms support the deal as underwritten
• Ensures SOPs are adhered to and bids are tracked and documented; collaborates on staffing and productivity metrics
• Provides direct support and consultation to Blue Plan Leadership
• Other duties as assigned
