Job summary

CityBus in Lafayette, Indiana seeks a Director of Operations to lead fixed-route and demand-response services, develop and support a strong operations leadership team, oversee staffing, scheduling, budget, performance and resource decisions, and collaborate across the organization to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, or related field.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in transit or transportation operations.
• Public transit experience strongly preferred.
• Must meet agency standards for motor vehicle licensing, drug screening, criminal background clearance, and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
