We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Business Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that improve how we operate, serve our clients, and deliver sustainable business growth.

This role will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop transformation strategies, and drive complex initiatives from strategy through execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of financial services, a proven track record of leading transformational change, and the ability to translate strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes.

The Director will serve as a catalyst for change—connecting strategy, people, processes, technology, and data to create a more efficient, scalable, and client-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business transformation roadmap aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
• Lead high-impact, cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning operations, technology, finance, risk, compliance, client experience, and other key business functions.
• Partner with senior executives and business leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, profitability, scalability, and client experience.
• Assess current-state processes and operating models, identify gaps and opportunities, and design future-state solutions.
• Establish transformation governance, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and success metrics.
• Lead complex programs from business case development and planning through implementation and benefits realization.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to improve business performance.
• Develop business cases and recommendations supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the financial and operational impact of transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
• Drive organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and communications to ensure successful adoption of new processes and capabilities.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, interdependencies, and barriers to execution.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and influence outcomes without relying solely on direct authority.
• Develop executive-level presentations, recommendations, and status updates that clearly communicate progress, outcomes, and strategic implications.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business transformation, management consulting, strategy, operations, program management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management, payments, fintech, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable business results.
• Strong understanding of financial services business models, operating environments, regulatory considerations, and risk management.
• Exceptional project and program leadership skills with experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including financial modeling, business case development, and performance analysis.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar approaches.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions, levels, and organizational boundaries.
• Strong change-management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office/PowerPoint/Excel and experience working with data and business intelligence tools.
