Job summary

American River College seeks a Director of Training Source to lead the development and administration of contract education and government training academy programs. The role drives marketing, implementation, and governance of ARC’s Training Source with industry partners, educational sector collaborators, and workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience related to the administrator's assignment.
• Equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct program activities related to the Training Source.
• Develop and implement revenue generating contract education programs.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate faculty, develop instructor assignments and schedules to meet industry needs.
• Support the college's academic mission through services aligned with its values.
• Coordinate programs to promote Training Source and student support and retention.
• Prepare reports and develop program goals; monitor expenditures and budgets.
