Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a recognized accredited institution, and support of the community college mission.
• Familiar with NC Community College transfer programs (CAA, uniform, bilateral) and ACA-prefix courses.
• Experience teaching at the community college level and supporting transfer students.
• Knowledge of UNC transfer agreements, GAP programs, and transfer partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Schedule classes according to program progression and college scheduling patterns.
• Assign faculty to sections per credentialing and scheduling requirements.
• Conduct program planning and assessment including annual planning and program review.
• Develop and manage discipline budgets in cooperation with the Dean.
• Train and mentor faculty, oversee faculty observations and evaluations, and support transfer initiatives.
• Represent the college in transfer activities with university partners and high schools.
