Job summary

American River College seeks a Director of Training Source to lead the development of quality educational programming for Contract Education, the Government Training Academy, and other workforce development initiatives.

Responsibilities include marketing, implementing, and administering ARC’s Training Source programs for private, public, and educational sector partners, including workplace coaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience related to the administrator’s assignment.
• Equity-minded focus and understanding of diverse backgrounds in community college settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct program activities for the Training Source.
• Develop and implement revenue-generating contract education programs.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate faculty; align schedules with industry partners.
• Advance the college’s academic mission and values through Training Source activities.
• Coordinate engagement with industry partners and community organizations.
• Prepare reports and develop program goals and budgets.
• Monitor student progress and provide follow-up throughout participation.
• Perform program evaluation and data analysis.
