Job summary

iboss, a cloud security company, seeks a Director of Training to design, build, and lead a comprehensive training function. You will develop scalable programs for Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Support, ensuring deep product knowledge and skills for success in a fast-growing cybersecurity environment.

The ideal candidate combines instructional design excellence with solid cloud security knowledge, SASE, and enterprise SaaS experience, and will lead a team or collaborate with

Qualifications

• 7+ years in training, L&D, or enablement within a B2B SaaS/tech company.
• Experience building training for technical and sales audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud security, networking, SASE/Zero Trust concepts preferred.
• Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (Articulate, Camtasia).
• Strong instructional design and ability to translate complex concepts into training content.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading a team, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and lead a company-wide training strategy.
• Develop curricula for Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Support.
• Translate product updates into clear training materials with PM/PMM input.
• Build and manage an LMS to track training, certifications, and skill development.
• Create onboarding programs to accelerate ramp time and productivity.
• Develop technical and sales certification programs for iboss platform.
• Design train-the-trainer programs to scale enablement globally.
• Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training interventions.
• Support partner and channel enablement programs for resellers and MSPs.
