Journey in Frankfort, KY is seeking an Activities Director to lead a therapeutic recreation program for residents. You’ll design and oversee engaging activities that meet social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs, guiding a compassionate team.
As part of the care team you will schedule, implement, and evaluate activities, manage Resident Council processes, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering joy and meaningful connections.
Competenze
- Must hold therapeutic recreation certification or be eligible as activities professional.
- Minimum 2 years in long-term care or activities program, or equivalent.
- Must have completed a state-approved training course.
Mansioni
- Directs the development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of activity programs tailored to residents' social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversees scheduling, implementation, and evaluation of individual and group activities, ensuring programs meet residents' assessed needs, adjusting as necessary.
- Manages Resident Council operations and maintains proper documentation.
