Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Activities Director to lead and oversee a dynamic activities program for residents in our Kentucky facility. You will plan, organize, and direct activities that address social, spiritual, and psychological needs, coordinating support for residents to participate in events.

The role requires a therapeutic recreation background or related certification, plus experience in healthcare or senior services.

Qualifications

• Degree and certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or equivalent.
• Certified Activity Director by recognized body or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program; one year in healthcare settings.
• State-approved training course completion is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify that assistance is provided to residents for activities and events as necessary.
• Provide in room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
• Create an ongoing calendar of activities that meets diverse needs and is accessible to all residents.
