Job summary

You will manage engineering managers, tech leads, and developers, shaping processes, standards, and a predictable delivery engine as we scale; collaboration with product and design is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in engineering management leading multi-disciplinary squads.
• Proven success scaling internal engineering processes and delivering cloud-native platforms.
• Strong foundational background as a former Senior Engineer; able to review code and guide architecture discussions.
• Expertise in SDLC, DevOps practices, and issue tracking tools (Jira, Linear).
• Excellent communication skills in leading teams delivering high-throughput APIs or large-scale data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery lifecycle; ensure sprints are well-scoped, shipped on time, and meet quality standards.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior individual contributors; conduct performance reviews and career planning.
• Standardize agile processes, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and testing to maximize velocity and minimize debt.
• Oversee day-to-day system architecture decisions to keep platform modular, maintainable, and stable.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to balance engineering capacity with roadmaps.
• Manage resource allocation and hiring pipelines to fill skill gaps and remove bottlenecks.
