Armanino seeks a senior tax leader to guide complex engagements for individuals, partnerships, and corporations in a Denver setting. You will review work papers, advise on transactions, and respond to IRS audits while mentoring staff and driving client service.

The role requires a CPA/EA or JD, at least 8 years of public accounting taxation, and 4 years in management. Strong business development skills and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
• Qualified to practice before the IRS (i.e, JD, CPA, or EA).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Perform technical review of engagement work papers and tax returns as it relates to Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corporations.
• Provide consultation on business and/or personal transactions and related tax implications.
• Develop responses to audits, notices and inquiries from IRS and other authorities.
• Manage larger and complex engagements and workflow to minimize risk and maximize engagement economics.
• Lead new business development opportunities and identify extended services for existing clients.
• Review or conduct high level research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums.
