829 Studios in Boston is hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead that effort. This is a player-coach role - you’ll run your own recruiting desk with a focus on strategic roles spanning sales, senior subject matter experts, and executives while also managing and developing the recruiters on the team.

You’ll need to be comfortable owning and achieving direct sourcing goals while simultaneously managing a recruiting and TA strategy upward to agency executives and building / operating a TA

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in talent acquisition, including recruiter mentorship.
• Proven track record closing senior-level, sales, account management roles.
• Hands-on Ashby ATS experience and strong ATS skills.
• Comfort with AI recruiting tools and fast adoption.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and running a desk.
• Process-driven with a commitment to scalable workflows.
• Experience recruiting internationally (Canada, UK, LATAM).
• Experience in a fast-growing company is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop recruiters; own your req load as a player-coach.
• Set pipeline goals, review progress, and ensure sourcing targets.
• Build a TA structure that scales with doubling headcount.
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and strategy.
• Advise on always-on hiring and market intelligence.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for sales, executives, and strategic roles.
• Run high-volume outbound sourcing to support revenue growth.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on role scoping and offers.
• Own recruiting systems, dashboards, and reporting for visibility.
• Evaluate and roll out AI sourcing and screening tools.
