Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director, Sustainability to lead the integration of sustainable design standards across our Digital Infrastructure Group, working with internal teams and external partners to imbue sustainability from project inception through delivery.

You’ll monitor PUE, WUE, and CUE, drive embodied carbon strategies, advance low-carbon materials, and shape ESG reporting, certifications (LEED, Green Globes) and broader sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in sustainability, ESG strategy, or environmental management.
• Experience in data centers, cloud infrastructure, technology, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD).
• Proven track record leading enterprise-wide sustainability programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management with C-suite and cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainable design standards across Crusoe’s digital infra projects.
• Embed sustainability from project inception through delivery with internal and external teams.
• Monitor PUE, WUE, and CUE; drive improvement and data-driven decisions.
• Support due diligence for new data center developments and permitting needs.
• Advance low-carbon materials and whole-life carbon assessment methodologies.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and communications.
