Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in sustainability, environmental studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Campus Operations: Provide leadership and collaborate with staff and students on campus sustainability operations including strategies for meeting Luther’s Climate Action Plan and integrating sustainability into all aspects of college operations.
• Student Programming: Develop and implement sustainability education and outreach programs, workshops, and activities for Luther College students.
• Community Engagement: Connect with community partners to develop and implement programs to advance the mission and vision of the Center for Sustainable Communities.
• Leadership: Maintain an elevated profile for sustainability at Luther College by developing productive relations with college leadership, shaping the work of the Center and advancing additional initiatives such as securing external funding for CSC projects, developing student recruitment programming, and/or leading other innovations that promote the mission of the Center.
