Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Senior Program Director for our Community Outreach team in Connecticut. The role focuses on leading a supportive housing program that assists residents with resources, meals, and social activities, aiming to foster stability and community integration.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, liaising with agencies, and ensuring program compliance and effective communication with partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services-related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of management experience in a mental health related program.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with supportive Housing and HUD housing.
• Approved criminal background and driving check.
• Registered & insured vehicle available for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training, and support to staff to enhance effectiveness and growth.
• Develop and manage quality programs to integrate clients into the community.
• Oversee all facets of supportive housing and housing-related programming in CT.
• Liaise with contracting agencies and the community with effective communication.
