Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking a Program Director to administer a permanent affordable supportive housing program under CHI’s master lease, covering 81 subsidized units in a Bronx complex.

Lead a small team of case managers and a property manager, ensuring program compliance, reporting, and housing stability services. The role oversees rent collection, maintenance, and documentation, and serves on CHI’s Leadership Team, driving strategic direction and program KPIs.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Public Administration.
• Experience: 8+ years with 5+ years supervisory/managerial experience in social work, human services, program administration, and facilities management.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.
• Ability to develop and manage program budgets.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee tenant services and case management for 81 subsidized apartments.
• Manage property operations including rent collection, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure reporting to CHI, DHS, funders and oversight agencies.
• Lead and develop the Leadership Team and staff in compliance and performance.
