Job summary

Aebi Schmidt USA seeks a seasoned Director of Supply Chain Management for Vehicle Solutions to bridge corporate procurement and the Vehicle Solutions division. You will drive divisional governance, implement targeted sourcing initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve cost savings while mitigating material shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization.
• Strong vendor negotiations and contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional control and support for the division, overseeing procurement performance and leading high-impact sourcing initiatives.
• Design and champion divisional and group procurement strategies for direct and indirect categories to deliver net cost savings.
• Lead high-stakes supplier negotiations, TCO assessments, and complex contract execution for major programs.
• Drive savings tracking and ensure bottom-line impact aligns with division P&L and EBITDA goals.
• Function as executive escalation lead for material shortages and supplier delivery risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to qualify surrogate components and alternative supply lines.
• Establish proactive risk-mitigation frameworks to insulate production from disruptions.
• Partner with BU General Managers and BU Leaders to align controls with operational goals.
• Develop training programs for matrix procurement and plant teams on governance and sourcing methodologies.
