Job summary

Centenary University seeks a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as its inaugural Senior Director of Student Success. This role will shape a comprehensive, collaborative model to empower every student to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.

The Sr. Director will coordinate academic support, advising, accessibility services, early-alert initiatives, and well-being programs, using data analytics to guide interventions and improve persistence, graduation, and career readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Education, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible experience in student affairs or related areas.
• Experience leading student support, persistence, and retention initiatives.
• Knowledge of ADA, FERPA, and student affairs best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop an integrated student success framework coordinating academic support, advising, accessibility services, educational opportunity programs, early-alert initiatives, student well-being efforts, tutoring, coaching, and retention strategies.
• Lead data-informed interventions to improve student outcomes and belonging.
• Oversee and develop staff, partnerships, and resources across student success domains.
