KIPP Texas Public Schools seeks a Director of Student Health Services to lead health programs across campuses, ensuring safe, effective care and alignment with district goals. The role partners with school leaders and health staff to implement strategic plans that improve student health and achievement.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with strong leadership, data-driven thinking, and experience managing budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

• RN with 5 years of direct patient care experience.
• School Nurse experience preferred.
• Master's Degree in a related education field preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience, including at least three years of direct people management.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Skyward and ImmTrac preferred.
• Ability to travel between campuses across KIPP Texas cities as needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic planning and program management for School Health Services.
• Provide operational leadership to School Health Services, ensuring quality programming and adherence to state statutes about PHI.
• Manage the Student Health budget and lead hiring for district and campus staff.
• Collaborate with the Special Education team to manage Individual Health Plans and related services.
• Coordinate state mandates (e.g., CPR/AED, screenings, immunizations) and serve on health advisory committees.
• Spend ~50% of time in schools working directly with teams to improve health programming.
