College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA seeks a Director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to provide clinical, administrative, and strategic leadership within an integrated student health model.

The director leads CAPS, ensuring ethical practice, accreditation, crisis response, staff development, budgeting, and collaboration with Student Health Services and other campus partners. Terminal degree and MA licensure required; salary range available.

Competenze

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology or counselor education from an APA-accredited program.
• Current, active licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a psychologist in MA.
• Minimum of seven years of post-licensure clinical/counseling experience with at least three years in supervision.
• Experience leading mental health services within integrated student health models.

• Set priorities to promote CAPS and student mental health within an integrated health model.
• Oversee design, implementation, and assessment of clinical services and outreach.
• Supervise CAPS staff and trainees, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance development.
• Provide direct psychological services and crisis intervention; participate in after-hours crisis coverage.
• Manage budgeting, policies, procedures, and technology to support CAPS operations.
