Job summary

Xavier University is seeking an Assistant Dean of Students to provide leadership for the student conduct processes and prevention initiatives in a Jesuit Catholic tradition. You will oversee hearings, sanctions, and compliance, collaborating with the General Counsel, Chief Title IX Officer, and campus partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education administration or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility for the direct implementation of student conduct interventions in a college or university environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct oversight of all aspects of the student conduct process, including serving as an Administrative Conduct Officer and coordinating hearings and sanctions.
• Supervise and train staff and student conduct volunteers, including board members and Integritas Advisors.
• Oversee leave of absence processes and ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Collaborate on prevention programs and training to address high-risk behaviors and policy compliance.
• Ensure reporting, data collection, and compliance with Clery Act, FERPA, and DFSCA requirements.
