Onward Search is seeking a Structural Engineer Director for a permanent on-site role in California's construction sector. You will oversee engineering operations, lead design and stamping of structural plans, and coordinate with production, sales, and executives to drive project success.

You will serve as Engineer of Record, manage a team of engineers and drafters, ensure compliance with California Building Code, and mentor staff while advancing retrofit and repair projects.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Active California PE license required; SE licensure or pursuit acceptable or able to obtain shortly after joining.
• 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in wood framing, concrete, steel, foundations, and retrofit systems.
• Extensive knowledge of California Building Code and local permitting requirements.
