DES in Redwood City/San Francisco seeks an experienced Structural Engineering leader with California PE license and 10+ years of progressive responsibility. You will guide engineers and designers, coordinate project workloads, and mentor staff while ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

You’ll lead technical solutions, communicate with clients, prepare proposals, and contribute to business development across diverse project types including retrofits and new constructions.

Qualifikationen

• Valid California Structural Engineer license with 10+ years of increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with architects, engineers, clients and stakeholders.

• Provide day-to-day leadership to Structural Engineers, EITs and Designers.
• Coordinate workload to meet project schedules and staffing needs
• Mentor team members through coaching and development discussions
• Lead construction documents and ensure accuracy from start to finish
• Develop fee proposals and participate in client interviews and marketing presentations
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain client relationships
