Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead and develop a team of Project Managers and oversee delivery on major projects and programs. You will ensure service excellence, client engagement, and market outreach as part of our growing PM service offering.

The role requires a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, strong leadership, and the ability to grow the business through strategic development and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or construction-related field.
• Graduate degree preferred in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years leading large multi-discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record delivering project management services for clients.
• Strong business development drive and growth experience.
• Experience with major construction sectors: commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, manufacturing, natural resources.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team and ensure delivery against accountabilities.
• Oversee client communications and deliver PM services.
• Research market conditions and analyze official data.
• Produce thought leadership reports for the construction market.
• Manage strategic and operational PM services across sectors, including resource and financial management.
• Set strategy with the team aligned to the Business Plan.
• Develop talent and foster a learning, respectful culture.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and quality controls.
• Drive business development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and attend networking events.
• Mentor staff and plan for future staffing needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction

Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred

12+ years of relevant construction project management experience

2+ years managing large high performing multi discipline teams in a consulting environment

Proven track record of managing successful project management service delivery for clients

Exceptional Business development ambition and acumen and demonstrated experience in achieving drive business growth

Major construction sector experience working with high caliber clients in; commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.

Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
