The Hartford is seeking a Director of Finance Analysis & Reporting to accelerate forecasting, drive workforce-driven financial insights, and lead a modernization of how we plan and report across Operations Finance. Hybrid role in Hartford, CT, reporting to Finance leadership and partnering with Operations and Workforce Planning to connect staffing with financial outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in FP&A or decision support, strong leadership, and expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of FP&A, analytics, or decision support experience; insurance/financial services preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and partner with senior leadership.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence executives.

Responsabilités

• Lead intelligent forecasting and connect workforce planning to financial outcomes.
• Modernize forecasting, reporting, and analytics across Finance operations.
• Translate operational activity into structured financial models and decision frameworks.
• Coach and develop a high-performing finance team; build workforce analytics capabilities.
• Partner with Technology Finance to standardize reporting and streamline processes.
• Own operating plan, forecasts, monthly results, and variance analysis.
