MaineHealth invites a seasoned communications leader to serve as Director - Communications and Public Affairs, shaping strategy and building connections with the communities we serve.

Based onsite in Damariscotta/Brunswick, you will guide internal communications, public affairs, and media relations, partnering with senior leaders to advance our mission and priorities while mentoring a small, skilled team of communicators across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
• Ten years of progressive experience in marketing, planning, communications, public relations in a healthcare setting.
• Three years of management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set and advance communications strategy, internal communications, public affairs, and media relations.
• Lead a small, capable team and build collaborative relationships across the organization.
• Advise leadership with clear, thoughtful communications and storytelling to advance MaineHealth's mission.
